Welcome to I Love Tea & Sushi, a delightful conveyor belt sushi restaurant nestled in the heart of Randburg, South Africa. Located at 34 7th St, this charming eatery transforms a casual dining experience into an adventurous culinary journey. The charming ambiance makes it a perfect spot for families and friends looking to savor authentic sushi and delectable bubble teas.
As I stepped inside, the vibrant colors and inviting decor hinted at the eclectic menu waiting to be explored. The captivating concept of a conveyor belt sushi bar ensures diners can sample a variety of sushi rolls crafted with utmost care. The freshness of the ingredients is palpable, and every bite offers a burst of flavor that transports you straight to the heart of Japan.
Customer reviews rave about standout dishes like the sweet and sour chicken, described by Cheri Smit as a "10/10" experience. It’s worth noting that despite being a sushi restaurant, I Love Tea & Sushi excels in creating a diverse menu that appeals to all tastes. For those eager to explore unique drink options, Linel le Roux highlights their colorful milk teas, complete with delightful toppings like pearls and mousse cake. The creative concoctions make each sip an Instagram-worthy moment!
Another gem on the menu is the beef flank ramen, praised for its generous portion and rich flavors, as mentioned by Kalindran Govender. The thoughtful touches, like complimentary orange slices to cleanse the palate, reflect the care the owners put into dining experiences. It’s clear that the hardworking couple behind this venture pour love into every dish and beverage served.
For those less inclined towards sushi, Emmanuel Conradie mentions the palatable spring rolls, and it seems the restaurant caters well to diverse preferences. Meanwhile, Taila Nell assures diners that the bubble tea is a must-try, further solidifying I Love Tea & Sushi as a hidden gem in a bustling neighborhood.
The only challenge might be locating this oasis, as it could easily be overlooked, thanks to its subtle signage. However, once you find it, the experience is surely rewarding. With friendly staff ready to guide you through the menu, it’s the perfect place for both sushi aficionados and novices alike. In my opinion, I Love Tea & Sushi is not just about dining; it's about creating moments filled with delightful tastes and shared happiness. This charming venue is definitely a place I would frequent again, as it stands out in the landscape of South African dining.

I just love this place!! Not just are the variety if drinks wonderful, it's also so colorful and makes for great photo opportunities! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially since many of the things on the menu are not well-known. I had the chocolate milk tea with pearl (always a favorite), my friends had the milk tea with mousse cake (also good, but very sweet) and the milk tea with crystal bobo (highly recommended!) If you like to try something different, this is the place to go!

Absolutely amazing place. Most authentic food and bubble tea. It’s for sure a little hidden gem. The owners are a hard working couple with 2 kids who you can see put great effort and love into their food and drinks. Will definitely be coming back x

The place was a little difficult to find because it is 50 m south of where the Google pin is and the entrance is not clearly marked. The food was reasonably nice, I am not really a sushi person but my wife said... And I quote It was Sooo nice!!! She is apparently a sushi person. The spring rolls were quite nice. That I can say.

Lovely quaint place. It is the small things that just add up. Google pin took me right to the place, there are no big signs on the building, just a sign on the pavement. Went there for the ramen and left a bubble tea fan. Lovely decor and exterior seating. It is slightly below road level, so still very private. Beef Flank ramen was delicious and a very generous portion. Had a lithci juice tea and it was nice to be asked how sweet to make it, I opted for medium. Juice was perfect for my sweetness liking. After the meal they give slices of oranges to cleanse your pallet, the small touches. I had to order a milk tea for take away, after seeing the rave reviews on Google. I went with the mint and coconut jelly, looked divine and can in nice carry bag designed for cups, the small things. It has pieces of coconut jelly instead of the bubbles, so delicious and perfectly balanced flavour-wise. Will definitely be recommending and soon frequenting again.

Delicious sushi!! Perfectly made. The salmon rose avalanches were fantastic - one of the best sushi pieces I’ve ever had!!!!! Kind owners even sent us a free dessert - deep fried milk; yum. Just to be aware: it’s a hidden gem so you have to look for it carefully (opposite the argentinian) and seating is limited.

BEST BUBBLE TEA EVER!!!! Highly recommend to everyone! Great taste, value and incredible choice range - everything is always in stock! (Unlike many other bubble tea stores). The food and drinks never fall short of absolute perfection. I’ve tried so many bubble tea stores, and this one is the best by far! ⭐The owner, her family and the staff are all such wonderful people. I’ve become a regular there - their products are that amazing!
